What to do:

  • Prepare early, at least 1 year before applying, and keep track of deadlines.
  • Research each university thoroughly.
  • Align extracurricular activities with your goals and values to show a clear application path.

What not to do:

  • Lie or plagiarize in essays.
  • Include extracurricular activities without a genuine interest, just to impress university admission officers.
  • Apply to only one university. It is recommended to apply to 5 to 8 universities, divided into safety, match, and reach schools.
